Picked up a 40 Breeder for my QT at Petco for $46. $/Gallon sale is pretty damn cool! Ran some miscellaneous electrical today, and tidied up the filtration. Started plumbing. Bulkheads are leak free!!! We're getting close. I rigged the Halide's above the tank to see how it will look. There is just is no better lighting than a Radium. Period.

Born on the 4th of July! I have 80 gallons of water made up, 40 gallons filled in the 250 so far. Just going to fill up the 250, but not allow it to overflow. Sump still needs some work, I'm waiting on parts. It'll take me all day, but I should have it filled up!

That is a nice tank birthday. My idea of a nice way to spend the 4th as well.

Thanks. The rack was not my idea, but that of the tank builder. It looks pretty sharp.

    Thank you.

It'll be easy to remember. Beer, Brats, Burgers, and Saltwater...God Bless 'Merica!

Well she's full and cycling. I dumped lots of those Prodibio vials into the abyss...what seemed like an eternity breaking off each little glass nub. Anyone that has dealt with this product, and continued to dose it, kudos to you. Patience is not my thing, and I will not be buying again. It only took 5 rounds of the 44 Gallon Brute containers (roughly 39 gallons each time) to fill it up to the overflows. After it cleared up...two days later...I think it looks better than I thought it would. It certainly looks BIGGER! It dwarfs my 120. Makes it look like Cheryl's pico! :p

After all that hard work, my wife decided to reward me. She bought me a Paracheilinus attenuatus, and a Cirrhilabrus cf lanceolauts. Yay! More Wrassies! They are still being QT'd and conditioned, and will ship in a couple of weeks. They will be the first inhabitants of my new QT!

Once my acrylic glue arrives today, I'll finish up my sump, and fill that and the QT. I have decided that once I get my new bushings for my Gyre, if it doesn't satisfy me on the first try, I'm selling it and getting an MP60QD for replacement. So, anyone looking for a Gyre, I might have a barely used one for sale at a good discount shortly.

Nope. Those are for the display. 8-Lamp ATI for the frag. I just tested the lights above the display and set those there. Geez...Hunter giving me grief over it too. :laughing016:
