Here is a shot of the lower stand section painted and wet sanded. No glaze has been applied yet. The upper half remains in the garage.

Oh...and my Richmond wrasse died yesterday. Old age I presume. Although, a theory from a respected fish disease expert points to the case of Brook last year that the Richmond survived, with a Formalin intervention from me, causing him to die now. I don't know for sure. I only know it is going to be a chore trying to replace him as no vendors have seen one on a list in a while! First the Rhomboid, and now the Richmond.

Here is a shot of the tank with the first three inhabitants; P. attenuatus, C. cf. lanceolatus, and C. katoi.

The above shot is just Kessil's on. Kessil's are a nice light. I doubt the PAR numbers they claim, but nice look to them.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
^ That is beautiful. Sorry to hear about the fish though, dang.

Kessil's sure seem to be putting out a good product the last couple years. I keep thinking I should have given them a second look.

    The scape is perfect!

Looking good man! I can't wait to build a tank like that. When I switch to led I'm choosing the kessil A360we or the orphek Atlantik

Thanks. I LOVE the shimmer from the Kessil's, but I'm going to have to get a PAR meter to see how it actually does below the water. I'll be adding one more down the center (4 total) and lining the rest of the canopy with ATI T5's and ReefBrite XHO's. Halides are just too darn hot!

Thanks. It happens. Just need to stop killing the fish my wife adores, ya know!

Thanks. Dependent upon what coral you plan on keeping should determine your choice. For an SPS junkie like me, I'd go with anything other than Kessil if that is your only light source. I'm happy with them, the spread is less than I had hoped, but I am supplementing with other LED's and lots of T5's.
