    No Candy Basslet. Thank you.

Yep, tear it all down and start over! Easy Water Changes are a must! I even went to HD Waterworks...and that is all they do is Pools/Spas!!

    Thanks!

Definitely! I will be adding stock in about a month...assuming all numbers are right.

    Thanks Cheryl!

Thanks. I'll most likely stay in the Reef Octo family, but go with an SRO model, maybe a Cone.

    Thank you.

I forgot to mention, I purposely built the stand to be able to hold a 120 gallon when I get bored with this one. ;D

Few more small things to finish on it, and then I can finally take a break and enjoy the tank.

I have the input coming from my Return Pump, valved to slow flow down to a trickle. It is gravity fed back into the sump, directed to the return pump area. This is not going to be my main nutrient export, but will serve as my Pod reproduction site. My main nutrient export will be Vodka/Vinegar dosing, heavy skimming, and water changes like clockwork.

Can you expound on your WC concept a bit? I've been trying to figure out a good way to manage that but haven't come up with anything inspiring yet. How are you going to measure water in and water out volumes?

Thanks for the plumbing pics. Don't remember who said it earlier, but I love a good sump/fuge/plumbing pic too!

Have you ever seen one with your own eyes though? The purple stripes glow with actinics. Do it.... :)
Seriously though, I'd have one if I had a smaller tank. They're know to hide a bit, so for a large tank I'd rather take those funds and buy a rare wrasse. :p
Home Depot, Ace, etc all carry it here. Then again, there's probably just a few more spas per capita in these parts.

I am going to measure the water using a very accurate eyeball and a 5 gallon bucket. Once the eyeball tells me that the bucket is full, I will shut off the ball valve, empty the bucket a repeat. To fill, I will use the same size bucket, and the other eye to do essentially the same thing, but with clean water. Very technical of course. ;D

I have indeed seen one in person, and agree they are beautiful. They are also expensive, and I draw the line before they sell. I did however pick up a new addition today, and will share in a week, if he makes it.

EDIT: People at Home Depot and Lowe's here did not know what I was asking about, and doubt it exists.
