    UPDATE:

Been a little while. I was able to track down a few of the fish on my list, and most did not survive...how it goes sometimes, especially with "difficult" fish. I did have a survivor however, a Blue Spotted Jawfish. They have the best personality of any fish I've ever seen.

No pics yet, as I am undergoing a bubble algae outbreak. I HATE this stuff! I have on order, delivering today somtime, a large lot of Emerald Crabs, and a Foxface, hopefully to rid my small infestation. Went out of town for a week, came back, 100+ bubbles...and you know all of em are in the tiny crevices, where I can't get my gorilla hands.

Other than that, so far, so good. Chemistry is solid. Growth and coloration are tremendous with the Radiums/LED mix. I will be getting some Acro's soon, and replenishing my empty tank!

Congrats on the BSJ; they definitely are awesome fish! I am sure you know, but make sure to give him plenty of small rocks and shells to make his home with. Everyone says to keep them in a cooler tank; I have read both that they are fine in a "normal" reef temp, as well as that they NEED to be in water below 72. I personally keep mine in my reef at 76. Keep an eye out for the dreaded Blue Spotted Jawfish disease. Although it seems if they make it through the stress of shipment and acclimation, then they are usually hardy fish.

Looking forward to seeing it though!

Sounds like a great project and looks great so far. Sorry to hear about the fish, should be a cool build and as it matures you may very well have better luck.

    NEW UPDATE!

Buying a lot of 7 Emerald crabs did the trick with the Blubble Algae breakout. Only a few bubbles left. The crabs have now resorted to munching on my few LPS corals, mainly my Rainbow Acans and 100+ headed Duncan. I will banish these little SOB's to the fuge tomorrow when I can see them. The Foxface is doing well. He did not help with the algae problem at all, but has a cool personality, and adds some much needed yellow to the tank.

Coral update: Just ordered a bunch of "Designer" SPS frags, and will post pics when they arrive. Congrats to the super-fast guy that stole the "Shades of Fall" Acro from me. :p Paging Greg Carrol.

I will be starting a regiment of the Red Sea Colors A-D shortly (Thanks to Salty Supply!), after seeing the results achieved at my LFS over the last couple months. I will update my personal progress here as well. That's it! Still waiting on a couple of vendors to find some mythical fishies for me. ::)

Forgot to add, I have started EcoBak (again). I am on week 2 or so...starting to ween off of Vodka/Vinegar dosing. I will be liquid carbon dosing until week 6, in half amounts until I reach that point.

Running 250mL right now, will be running 500+mL. NextReef MR-1 Reactor, modified with a funnel to get desired flow, all powered by a Rio 8HF pump. I have stopped using GFO, and will add if necessary.

Lights come on @ 2:30 EST. Pics to follow. For the meantime, here is the list of goodies:

    Strawberry Shortcake (mini colony)
    GARF Purple Bonsai
    True Orangi Monti
    ORA Joe The Coral
    Tyree Chili Pepper Monti
    Meteor Shower Cyphastrea
BONUS: Looks like a Acro Prostrata - though unsure as I did not order it.

All have been acclimated and are in the tank with just the LEDs on. Polyp extension on all, and no brown out (yet).
