Food for Queen angel??

    he should be on an a majority algae diet, (they go nuts for fern caulerpa by the way) for the rest of 09' definitely mix in some sponge in their though from time to time though. by midway of next year they will begin the coral picking phase, I usually notice it around 4 inches or so. They love feather dusters too, an expensive meal of course, but if you have some in the tank take pictures now so you can remember them. :) cool fish, is this your first angel?

    ocean nutrition makes a frozen, cubed "angel formula" which contains, among other things, sponges, which are critical to the long term health of angels. all the other suggestions are good, so would recommend you just mix it up.

    I haven't heard anyone suggesting this recently(so maybe it's now discouraged?), but I feed organic, fresh yellow and green squash. just slice it in 1/2" slices, put it on a veggie clip and in a few hours the center is gone! I do this once or twice a week. curious to hear others input on this. i've been doing it for years...
