I want to get another container for my sump (in addition to the 29G) But what is considered food grade plastic? Are all the clear rubbermaid containers OK? What about the blue ones? How do I tell if the label doesn't say so?

no matter which container you choose rubbermade or something else take a hypersalinty water mix. and scrub the container well. Then you should have no problems.

Not really 'stuck' on the rubbermaid, but it's really the only choice for cheap alternatives to another tank. (walmart being the only store that has what I need as far as size)

I like the idea f the plastic because I could easily raise it up and contain the skimmer in it, and then plumb it down to the refugium/return pump.
    Thanks for the link.
