    if your scallops were spongy then they were not cooked properly or they were not fresh. i love seafood but being cursed by living in chicago i refuse to eat any seafood that isn't fresh. too often it is put on ice and shipped to the middle of the country. and by the time it gets here it is i couple of days old and smells like fish. :( so i eat as much as i can when i get to go to the coasts. there are pletny of fish in the sea.... right?

    Some sea food is good if cooked correctly Hot and spicy :) But me my self ?? I'd rather have some BBQ never had any fish to taste better then some slow cooked in a smoker BBq ribs or shoulder of a old pig!

    As for eating fish and keeping then as Hypocritical ? I and my cousin was about 10 we where given a little piglet to care for LOL . In October he was BBQ LOL . also we ate the fish we catch in the old farm pond :)
