Well I am glad that the owner was there and understood the basics of a being good business person. ;D Sometimes when I go to the store I rely on the salesperson to answer my questions too. It's hard when you see something nice that you want and WAIT, go home and research then go back and buy. Although I am learning, I don't always buy when I go to the store.
Flame Angel for your next purchase?

I worked at a LFS for several years, ran the marine section in fact ;) I think you should get a clown trigger now! They don't get big, beg like puppy dogs and are fine with everything :D Bah, you'll be fine with a Fluval 404, trust me!

Clown trigger for my reef. You do sound like a LFS employee :p ;D. Just kidding.
I think when I find some nice ones I am going to buy a 12 line wrasse and falco hawkfish. Both nice and small!

I love hawk fish! They are so underrated. (well, mostly cos they eat shrimp and the like)

You can actually keep a clown trigger in a tank, but it has to be a big tank, and the clown needs to be small. Terry S. of Advanced Aquaraium online had one for years in his 450g.

12 line wrasse, got a latin for it?

I USED to like hawks, but I like shrimp and small fish MUCH better. I have a Geometric Hawkfish (actually, it's a anthias, but don't tell them that), thats as close to a hawk as I'll get. He resides in my sump right now, I need to clear out the shrimp from my frag tank for him, so he doesn't do it for me. Kinda not a cheap fish ($100-$150) for a sump resident, I better clear out the tank soon :)

Whats cooler than a long nose hawk fish? I love these fish except they are expert jumpers. Too bad.
