Okay, Pan, here are some pics of my perchlet Spike that you requested. He's a cutie! I took them during feeding, so there are lots of strange lookin' white things in the pictures haha.

EDIT: I have no idea how the picture of my super adorable doggy got in there!

Me too! I saw Spike at the LFS one day and instantly fell in love. Did what research I could (not much out there) and decided to go for it. I love him! He's such a character.

And yes it is an acropora.....a fake one!! ;D The best kind. Always looks great.

Yep! It only cost me like 30 bucks, requires no light and no food! It's definitely a coral I recommend.

Haha! I thought it looked a little bit funky :cheesy:. We had a few of them back at the store, very cool as I had never seen them before. I fell in love with them! Mainly because their related to Anthias, which as you know are the most beautiful fish ever! He is so adorable, how is he with shrimps and crabs?

He's great. He's really docile, doesn't bother other fish and I've never seen him even vaguely interested in my crabs or snails. My pseudo on the other hand....

But yeah, no problems so far!! He's really grown too - I think he's about doubled in size already. He's so cute too - he's learned when it's feeding time and he just waits patiently on the sand in the front of the tank. Plus, since he just perches around, he has "prey" eyes and they are so cool! They move independently from each another and I can always see him looking at me.

That's so funny! Because my LFS had two in stock, and they were there for like 3 months. They guy working said they aren't very popular because not many people know about them due to their rarity.

He's really come into his own. For the first few weeks I was like "what was I thinking!" because he was so lame, lol, but he just needed to get comfortable in his new home. He's really changed. At the LFS he was in a tiny cube tank for 3 months, so I can see how going into my 37 with four other fish would be a little scary! So heartwarming! lol :)
