How do you have yours set? I I have mine about six inches above the water along with two par thirty bulbs. Blue is set to about fifty the rest is about 35. I started at fifty fifty and bleached Alot. Now my zoas, lps, claim, are all doing great. My sps are at a stand still, even new stuff I add. Montis, bird nest, red planet etc.. All stuff that really took off under my t5s..is the power just set to low? Tank is a fifty breeder so it's shallow [IMG]

why do you have the par 30 bulbs if you were bleaching? waste of electricity IMO.

You need to slowly acclimate your corals to the light. Starting low, and every week or 2 go up 5-10%. Until you get to where you want to be.

I ended up raising mine up and my acro's still bleached. I never went more than 50% whites and only had them on for 4 hours. I went back to MH on half my tank (where the hard coral is) and my monti cap is starting to recover. Too early to tell for the acro's, I had a hard time with this light with my acro's. Go really slow to avoid bleaching and raise them if needed, mine are 14" off my tank. All the softies and LPS are fine, I lost a colony of darth maul's, not sure why but hammer coral, leather coral, zoo's and palys are all doing fine.

For the par thirty they are basically my moon lights. They really don't add much par I checked with a meter. I guess I was just afraid that I wasn't giving them enough light, I guess I'll keep it where it is for now

I have mine 12" off water, and acans, zoos, blastomussa, derasa clam all on bottom of 75 gal are doing great.

Have montipora, torch, candy cane, mid and they are doing great. Also have toadstool bottom/mid and it is doing great as well.

I have mine at 12" above the tank,my highest sps is 6" from the top.So they're 18" total above my highest frag.I start up with the blues at 100% then about a half hour later I fire up the whites/colors channel and slowly ramp it up to 100%.My tank is a 65g so it's pretty deep.

I bought my first sps as a frag pack off of ebay, they came in mostly washed/browned out but alive.I run my lights 8 hours a day and have seen nothing but good results and the frags are coloring up nicely,I just put other lower light stuff (syppodium, zoas, and some sps half way down, and lps, gsp, etc. on the sandbed.) I believe the depth of my tank has kept me from frying anything.Had the lights for 3 months now.

Edit-I did slowly acclimate the tank to the lights at 50% each before I began turning them up.
