I had a chance to check out one of these at my LFS on Saturday and it is the coolest toy!!! Very pricey though, but they are coming out with an attachment for a digital camera!!

I don't need to see that close up for that price.l
Too many other corals I could buy with all that money.

It was the coolest thing to play with. The pictures just don't have the same effect as using one in person. I would need the attachment for the digital camera when they come out as I have a Canon EOS20D Digital SLR and there's no way to take a picture with it through the mesoscope eyepiece. I think that might be a christmas gift to myself... ;D

    Wow cool lens. 8)
$500 will buy me a nicer camera, but still, that would be sweet. I was actually using an old school magnifying glass the other day and it worked pretty well, but something with a zoom would be nice.

The owner of my LFS let me borrow it for a couple of days! I've actually got it at home now and I've got to say it's the coolest thing! I need the adapter to take pictures with my Digital SLR though. It's just amazing to look at life through it! I think this will definitely be a Christmas gift
