    I saw this on local news, and googled it to verify it. Travis Barker formerly of Blink 182 was in a bad plane crash last night in SC. 4 killed, Travis and DJ AM are the only survivors, but they dont know if they're going to make it or not.

    Well last night on PPV they had a special on with the rolling stones and all could say is WHY ? hell they looked like a plane crash . Their comes a time to just say no. They where ridiculous looking at best. If they all where to fart at the same time it would look like a Oklahoma dust storm from the mid 1930's ..

    We like both DJ AM, and Travis Barker (best drummer in the world). Hope they are able to pull through. They will be in our thoughts.

    I have no idea who they are but I'll certainly pray for them.

    Interestingly enough, I almost died flying out of that same airport. I was doing an inventory audit at a company in Barnwell, South Carolina. I was near a punch press (which are loud) and I thought I heard my name over the intercom. I paused and then went about my business. Then 30 seconds later I heard very loudly, "CURT, CALL THE OPERATOR NOW!!!". When I did I was informed that I had exactly 5 minutes to pack up my things and get to the front desk. Hurricane Floyd was absolutely devasting everything. They had already moved the jet from Barnwell to Columbia and if we hadn't taken the big truck, we never would have made it everything was flooding so bad. The jet was small. It could only hold 8 passengers (plus the pilot and co-pilot) and shortly after take off, the wind caught ahold of that little plane. One second I was looking at torrential rains and the horizon and the next second. I was looking straight at the ground because the wings were now pointed North and South instead of East and West. Chris (the pilot) later told me that we were very lucky they were able to stabilize the plane because we were still very low to the ground when that happened.
