    No. At least not in my tank. I've had them for about a year now. Before that they were in a buddies tank. As far as I'm aware they weren't spawning for him.

    If they are getting around the age of 2 years or more they are probably getting ready. Member nightster had this problem, but I do not know how it resolved. My Maroon female did dig depressions in the sand, which I usually put a rock in. While I understand the behavior it makes for a less than ideal FTS.

    My maroon clown does the same thing. It hosts a leather in the back corner where now there is no sand do to her constant sand stirring. And there is probably around 5-6 inches in the front corner because of it. I am thinking of getting rid of the clown because of it.

    I got rid of my Maroon for this very reason. It was maddening. I covered the sand with rock, moved his home. Tried to trin him... use electro shock therapy...(JK)...no serious... no JK... nothing. could not stand the constand crap storm in my tank. He had to go.
