I found a 12.5 (or 16.5, he isn't sure) BioCube for sale on Craigslist it's $30, has LS, and has 6 lbs of LR, a crab, and a baby puffer fish. I was thinking of making this my QT and adding the crab and puffer to my 45... what do you all think?

That would be a great deal for a Bio Cube..Unfortunately thats an eclipe system. They are not that expensive in the stores. IMO I would just buy the new set so you know what you are getting.

If you plan on keeping the puffer he is going to need a much bigger tank of about 20-30gallons. Make sure you read up on them. They need hard shelled foods for their teeth. Also most gsp are very aggressive and should have the tank to thselves. They are very neat fish and I love mine. Just make sure you read up on them
