While adding rock today I found a small ricordea orange polyp/frag. I was able to pull the frag out and it is about the size of a pencil eraser if not smaller.... I have it sitting in my net right now in the water so I don't lose it but am not sure what to do to keep it alive and growing. Any help would be great! Is it safe to use reef glue and attach it to rock with it being so small?

it is prob just stressed out due to the transfer and possibly touching the air in transfer. usually will be fine if it wasnt too long. Should be ok to secure to a rock. but be careful not to get it near the mouth.

I was sure to keep the coral submerged 100% of the time during transfer. I had the ricordea in my other tank and it never did grow due to multiple reasons I don't want to get into (new to hobby at that time). So this ricordea has been in the system for probably 2 years and this is the first time I have seen a sign of it in about 1 1/2 years..... thanks for the tip though I'll try and secure it and keep it alive!

Just wedge it between two rocks, somewhere with low flow so it can attach!
