Looks like a Kenya Tree....but it acts like a feather duster as it totally retracts into the stand ...has no tube ....that i can see ...once touched ...the whole thing retracts down and is gone ????

Fuge is only 2 week old .....and the sand is new .....I think I got it from a LFS when I put the Macro Alge in ?

    THanks

Aiptasia. Not good. Joes Juice, Aiptasia X, Lemon Juice, Steaming hot water, These injected on it will kill it. They spread like fire and the have a sting about as deadly.

    1. it is aptasia
    2. if it's in your fuge, you probably can leave it there. it may multiply. peppermint shrimp eat them if it multiplies and you want "natural" control.
    3. if it gets into your DT, it'll spread.

    hope this helps.

aiptasia. If its in your fuge it will get in your dt by putting planula into the water column which will make their way to the tank
