Was this guy the owner? If not I would contact the owner and have a heart to heart with him. If it was I would revisit and state my disappointment LOUDLY in the store with him where other customers could feel (not just hear) my disappointment until he called the cops or give me my money back. I wouldn't count on it. Butterflies control a pretty large area on the natural reefs for each fish. It's hard to really realize the destruction they can do to a small reef within a tank. I made the mistake of think "maybe my coral growth will keep up with it" and put a butterfly of the same family in my tank. At first it seemed timid around the corals and barely nipped at one that I wanted it to eat. I left it alone for about 2 hours that day. When I returned home both my brains were near skeleton, EVERY SINGLE SPS polyp was gone and my torch was dead. Just like other fish, they take some time to acclimate before they go into their normal eating routine. If it happens, it will most likely happen so fast you won't notice until the damage is done.

Butterflies can be a bit timid, but I think the wrasse would be fine.

Ouch, Sorry to hear about your issues with the store. Hopefully all goes well. If they dont accept the return, there are ways to go about getting it because of the false information. However it is all word for word. So not sure how it would exactly pan out unless others had the same issue and spoke out as well.

one thing ive done to catch fish, I know this is kinda harsh but it has worked for me, Have the room pitch black for an hour, dim a flashlight with your hand and find the where abouts of the fish you want to catch, turn on the lights of the tank super bright, the fish are easier to catch cause they are blinded for about 30 seconds or so ... Kinda cruel I know.. But has worked for me in the past. Someone else suggested it on here.
