    Hi, this photo has been sitting at Eyedee.com for more than a week with no good answers (I don't think it's a sea anemone, which is the only answer so far). I wonder if anyone can help out with an identification.

    Appears to be a brachiopod, aka Lampshell Featherduster.

    Very cool, I've found them in the Pacific, but never seen them on the Texas coast.
