    sounds like you're waiting for someone to cut the grass first with this deal lol....when I get back to work I will ask one of my co workers about this deal. I know he buys almost everything for his tank on eBay. Idk how he hasn't lost much in his tank.

    This is one of the things buying from a quality retailer really helps. You know you can trust them. I wouldn't risk it personally.

    I already placed my order with BRS my reactor comes in on Friday.. couldn't wait much longer. Went to my local all pet emporium they were asking 29.99 for 150G of phosban( thats nutts).. I got 1lbs BRS GFO 28.58 shipped had a code.

    I would be very skeptical. Yes there are only a couple manufacturers in the world but this may not be a virgin product. It could very well have been used in a municipal water treatment plant to remove arsenic, which is its main purpose in real life, then removed and recycled or just dried and repackaged. The same thing happens with spent GAC carbon in municipal water plants, it gets sucked out and much of it gets regenerated and reused but for our reef purposes I would shy away from both and stick with a known supplier for quality and a known product.

    It may very well be the real deal but there is not enough information provided and the price is one of those "to good to be true" things. I have access to GFO in bulk through my profession and I still don't think I can buy it for that even in ton quantities or super sacks.
