Well I was looking at the wysiwyg section of liveaquaria and I found this

not exactly what i expected lol. I was actually looking for a six line wrasse but I found this instead. looks nice and I'd probably get it but $60??? A six line costs like $15 at my LFS! and the 4 line wrasse is actually $90 because of shipping! WTF??!?!?!? well anyway it's practically the same except for the name and # of lines/color but I don't think it should cost this much... then again liveaquaria charges $1,200 for a trio of some species of cardinalfish so I'm not surprised.... Still a pretty fish and good for 30 Gallons ;D

DD fish also go through an extensive quarantine unlike the LA fish, so even if the normal LA price would be cheap on a given fish, the DD price is going to be much more.

Then again, you get to be reassured that the fish are pretty well clean and healthy, and eating properly.

The 4 line will get bigger than the 6 line also. 6 line are easier to catch than 4 line so that is part of the difference.

Consider that many of the things on DD are quarantined for 2 or more months, plus medicated if neccesary, then imagine the expense you would incur for doing that. Then consider that it means their business will always have a very slow turnaround time on relatively low volume items, many with relatively low price, which, as a business, increases costs.
