I think I am gluten for punishment. My wife convinced me today to set up another aquarium just so she can get a puffer. I have not even got my reef up and going good yet. Only a little better than 2 months in. But I guess I have to start setting up this extra 55 gal that I have for her. One just getting established and another fixing to go through cycle. Oh what fun.

I am going to put my 4 x 65 PC's on there and that brings me to another question. I get to buy new lights for my reef. I am looking at the nova extreme pro T5 as I have only found they come in 6 bulbs for 48". Should I try to fine one that is 8 bulb or will the six be enough for my 75

I have both types and its great. What kind of puffer does she want? I got a few and love them, so much personality. The reef looks great but has no personality compared to the FO. Good luck.

if it was me i'd go with Halides, but if you really like the T5's why not go with the 8 bulb fixture :)

No Halides for me I am trying to find an alternate fixture with 8 bulbs that wont cost to much more. Any recommendations and would the 6 not be enough is that why you say go with 8.

I wouldnt put halides in the FO. Puffers Eat alot. So there is lots of room for nitrates and phosphates with no snails etc.. to control algea it can be a problem. I use 2 65 watt compact florecents on mine and its been up for years. The lights you have will deffenitly be fine.
