The Fox coral at the LFS that I purchased had been there for over two weeks. Every time I saw it he was fully open, I bring himn home, to my 75 reef under 250watt metal halite, place him towards the side so that he's not under direct light.. he won't fully open. I've had him for a week.. I think I might have found the reason.. he was in the direct line of my current, not the p.h., but the return flow from the sump.. can't remember what that's called. Anywho, I just moved him to a much less movement part of the tank.. will he be ok ya think? I fed him earlier today.. invert banquet, what should I do if I don't see improvement soon?? My pipe organ, and blasto, and other corals seem fine.. Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thanks!

sounds like the poor little coral has been through a lot of change in a short amount of time (water conditions, lighting, flow, etc.) He probably just needs some more time to settle down. I'd give him a week and post again if he hasn't opened by then. I'm running on the assumption that your water params are good, but make sure you check them.

Thanks, your prob, right.. it just seeemed diff than the other corals that I had brought home from the LFS. They all seemed to adapt very quickly. I hope it will be fine. I felt like I had to move him from the stronger current after reading more about them. It did say that they were a pretty hardy LPS though. Hope he does alright, will keep an eye on it.
    Thanks!

they are very hardy, but do like low current and moderate to lower lighting. They can adjust to higher lighting however, so give it a little more time and see what happens. I think it will be fine
