fox face has red around fins/gills

    Just noticed my fox face has red stuff around his gills and where his fins attach on his side. Almost looks like red algae .. any ideas?

    did a little browsing on that this stuff isnt really apart of his skin.. its almost like its caught in between his flippers and gills.. like i could reach in and brush it off.. if that makes any sense almost stringy.. like its coming out of his gills

    do you have any fire or cleaner shimp? I understand they are good at cleaning the fish too. I really have nothing else to say so far. I'll keep looking and see what I come up with.

    That may be good news. I hate seen sick fish.

    have you put the FOX on a QT untill you find out what it is? is better to be safe than sorry (I think)

    Update. Today (day 2 ) he looks back to normal :) I do have a cleaner shrimp maybe he helped ;)
