I have had a foxface for about 2 weeks now and is a drama queen. freaks out if anything is put in the tank including my hands. yesterday i purchased a seabea anemone it looks so good, and my two clowns love it. I also got two nice green ricordia yuma's. but ever since those bags were put in the tank. the foxface freaked out, hid in the back of my tank the entire night. and this morning I finally see him and he seems to be having trouble swimming. he will swim around then just float down to the bottom of my tank and just rest there. Whats do you think is going on.

Do all his fins look in tack? He might have damaged one while he was freaking out! Its totally normal for a foxface to be skidish, as that is there normal behavior! Check its fins and make sure its eating!

ive got a one-spot and hes very timid. gets freaked by the smallest movement. but i guess its their nature. i like the garlic suggestion and mine is also a nori lover. also mine took quite a while to feel comfortable in my tank and he was 2nd fish in. id give him time .

Hi Crazy, he is fine. I have had a couple of them over the years. One of mine hid for 4 days. They will always "freak out" it's just that the older they get the less they seem to do it. Mine changed colors. It had two distinct patterns, a kind of stripe looking and a blotched look, both were real faded. It is just the way they are.

Forgot to suggest, if you have any (or can get some) use a stone (or frag plug) or clip with some dried kelp (sea weed) for him to nibble at. Place close to where it is hiding.
