I just added a foxface Lo and my pbt is attacking it which I didn't think would happen but unfortunately it is happening. Any suggestions on what I can do? I don't want my powder to get stung but he doesn't seem to care that the ff is venomous.

You can try turning the lights out and leave them off til morning, you may find you need to try rearranging some rock work to get rid of any "this is my area" attitude. Or It may subside after a bit. Tangs can be aggressive, and new adds are gonna get picked on. Just keep an eye on it, do you have a fuge or sump where you can move one if some damage gets done?

Yeah I can move one to the sump. Right now the lights are out and the ff is behind the overflow hiding. Everything is calm right now. I never would have thought the pbt would attack a venomous fish or I wouldn't have added him.

I've got a clown that has been stung twice my foxface, he is sluggish and hides in his corner for a couple days and then back to his old self.

Well the Powder Blue is found in Maldives,Sri Lanka. And the Foxface Lo is from Indonesia,Vanuata. Since these fish don't interact in the wild the Powder has no idea that this yellow fish you just added to his aquarium is venemous.I am sure it will find out soon enough though.

I just hope he can calm down cause the ff swims away from him but the tang is a bully. My nerves are shot. Will the sting kill my pbt or just stun him?

I would suggest a tank separator if you have room. Give the FF time to get used to the tank and feel more at home since he is the newbie. Give the FF time to acclimate to his new tank and try again in a couple days.

The powder has been stung now but is still swimming fine guess its just a wait and see thing now. The powder was trying to seek the fox out but has stop looking for him.
