foxface has dots all over it!help please

    hey im keeping it short but i got my foxface 2 weeks ago and just recently it got dots all over it. i know it changes color and so but the fish isnt swimming around anymore and just sits in the corner of the tank untill i give it some food. I had two clown fish but they both just swam on one side and didnt eat. please help me....my salt level is good and ph is 7...nothing fancy in the water at all...

    please look at the photos and let me know if there is a way to stop it before this fish also dies

    Your fish looks like it has parasites (marine "ich"). Can you please give us some specifics about your tank? Such as tank size (gallons), water parameters (temperature, pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, salinity, etc.), and what you have in the tank? Answers to these questions will help us help you better. And please try to be specific. For example, you said above that your salinity is "good" - what does that mean? And if your pH is really 7, you have problems (marine pH should be between 7.8-8.4).

    welcome to 3 reef W1ttes
    as JJK stated above, we need a bit more information about your set up to come up with any real beneficial suggestions

    but for now, Im a believe in adding Garlic extract to food stuffs as this encourages appetite and a well fed fish can better fight off infections also Selcon added to food stuffs is recomended by many (not had the advantage of using this myself so cannot confirm)

    we need the information so we can find route cause of parasitic outbreak
    stress, shock, close confinement, aggression, change in water chemistry , all of these things can trigger a outbreak of this type
