Ive been clicking and reading on Bluezoo about different fish, really doing research and I came accross that foxfaces/rabbitfish might nip at corals. anyone else see this behavior?

I have had mine probably about a year, and he is around 5 inches long, he has never nipped at anything and keeps my rocks spotless

Nope, mine never nipped either. Unless it was stealing food from the tubastrea. Every now and then it would get some of it's flesh. The little thief.

they are "reef safe". I did have one turn on an LTA once....pecked at the mouth till it spit its guts up and then it continued till it killed it.

I suppose it is just hit and miss then, I was just surprised to see it as a caution fish on bluezoo, mine is the nicest best algae eater in the tank!

it is a hit or missed I had one in my reef and it had a taste for elegance, and acans:angry: I took it out and took it to the LFS now my acans are not open all the way. Hopefully they will recover.
