foxface with a ring?

I just did a water change and noticed this on my foxface. I really would like to think I would have noticed if I accidentally siphoned him. Is there any kind of disease that causes something or is probably just an injury (possibly from myself)? He's eating and swimming fine...

It was hard to get good pics of him as he's always on the move.

 

hmm... not too sure but i will tell you. Mine seemed to have two wounds on his body, looked like two cuts from maybe getting sliced by the rocks when I spooked him by accident when rearranging some rock. I just kept an eye on him (This was on saturday and it looks as if it fully cleared up), so he seems like a fast healer. Hopefully in your case it quickly diminishes as well.

 

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on him, I'm sure he'll be fine, I was just wondering if anyone had ever seen anything like this. I will say it's a tough fish, he almost died once by going to sleep next to the intake of a powerhead and got stuck to it (it has since been removed). I really thought he was dead that time, he couldn't even swim. I'm sure he will pull through this!

 

its a ring caused from a powerhead.

 

I don't have any powerheads with a circle that size on them - I have two Koralia's and a modded maxijet 1200...

 

hmmm that what it looks like to me. Back to the drawing board.

 

This fish now has another ring just like the one above on the lower part of his body. I'm going to try to get a pic later. Anyone have a clue what it is?!!?!?! I can't think of anything in my tank (as far as powerheads, heater, etc) that would cause this!
