frag tank lighting?

    Are you staggering them or keeping them even? If keeping them even you will have dark spots on either side.

    Hrmm...that might work. How high will the light be and is it a Retro or commercial fixture?

    it will be a retro in a 8" or so high canopy.

    Well if its a Retro and you mount them all even and its to dark on the ends you can always stagger them and will still achieve what you want.

    just got a 4 bulb fixture. what will be the best bulb combo?

    I don't really have enough experience with t5 to make selections on bulbs. I know in my 8 bulb fixture I had 5 ati blue plus and 2 ati 10k and a ge 8500 I think. That gave me like a 15k look I think. Maybe closer to 20k

    1 48IN ATI Blue Plus T5 HO Fluorescent Bulb
    3 48IN 12000K ATI Aquablue Special T5 HO Fluorescent Bulb

    would this combo work?

    Not sure sounds like it'd be blue but not sure. As I have said don't have that much experience in bulb combos. But you are using 48 inch fixture now?
