frag tank lighting?

    That would be a good growth combo but not as good for color. What are you looking for the corals to do in your frag tank? If you are looking for color go more blue.

    1 48IN 12000K ATI Aquablue Special T5 HO Fluorescent Bulb
    1 48IN ATI Purple Plus T5 HO Fluorescent Bulb
    or
    1 54w KZ Fiji Purple High Output T5 Lamps by Korallen Zucht

    will this work?

    I run this combo. I like it. Brings out colors real nice and has a full spectrum appearance. I had a 40 Breeder as a frag tank. Personally I went with 6 bulbs but this was for SPS.

    I have that same combo on my reef. I get good growth and color. Should work for your needs. You may need to keep the fixture pretty high above the tank or you will light inhibit the corals and get poor growth and color.
