    Thanks. It actually went together like that this first try. I was pretty suprised. Tried to not smash a lot of rock in there. Wanted some room for the clown to swim and some area on the sand for acans.

    Side note just check levels again and it seems to have cycled already. Kinda suprising. But about 80 percent of the rock is out of a 3 yr old reef so I guess its possible.

    Looking good so far..its great you and your daighter can share the same hobby..on a side note how did the levels check out for that new salt you were using..was it worth it or no real defference..

    thats what im curious to as well do you plan on throwing a skimmer on that tank or do you think it will be fine with water changes alone??

    Not gonna run a skimmer. Water changes should be good enough but ill have to wait and see. I don't really want to overcomplicate things with a skimmer.

    The tank is doing well and is going through a very small diatom bloom right now. Looks like its starting to go away though.

    Took my daughter to the store this weekend to pick out her clown fish since the tank levels are all acceptable. She didn't want a regular clown and wouldn't leave the store with out this guy. She's got good taste right? Lol
