Frag tank?

    I have a post on a build I am doing right now on a 100 Gallon tank. I am building the sump / refugium in my basement - but on the other side of the wall is my office - I home office.

    So here is my question! How much can a 30 gallon sump / refugium ( I am doing a combo) filter? Can I filter my 100 and also a Frag tank or a 55 tank with a Lion fish? My sump is a Eshopps ADV-200

    Can I feed another return through the wall (3-4 feet) into a Frag tank?

    If I don't do a frag tank I was thinking a cool lion fish as I will have a reef upstairs. What size tank would I want for that?

    I like the idea of a Frag tank, but I also REALLY like the idea of a smaller tank as I am in my office most of the day.

    There is no written rule, but in general you want your sump to be about half the size of your DT.
