frag toadstool

    So I decided to frag my toadstool today and just cut the top off of it.. I late looked closer into videos and they cut around the base in a donut shape to preserve the top.. is mine going to be alright?

    IMHO - Yes many people have fragged toadstools using your method

    cut the top of and the top grows a new stem
    and the old stem will grow a new top

    People who cut the donut ring (I have used this method) then cut the ring into 4 or 5 sections and get 4 or 5 new toadies and the old one is a little smaller across the top due to the cut

    both methods are used, both work - but with your method you end up with only 2 shrooms
    unless you cut the top part into quarters for example
