so i went to my lfs and had them frag my cycloseris in an effort to save the coral...had a lot of dead tissue with hair algae growing on it. while i was very unsure if and how this would work i must say i am very pleased with the results thus far. they cut it up into about 5 pieces, well 6 really but the 6th piece got tossed (dead/hair algae). Anyways the pieces that i have now i put into the tank on the rockwork so they get sufficient current help heal the wound. all the pieces have their little tentacles popped up which to me was a very good sign. im just wondering if there is anything special i should be doing to ensure their survival. also is it possible to feed them still even if only one of the pieces has the mouth?

Yes, you can target feed that coral by using a turkey baster.. try and feed about the same time or times a day and the feeding tenicals (miss spelled i am sure) will come out and feed..
Or another idea would be to do the same but using a 2 liter bottle cut to fit over the coral and use the turker baster to fill the bottle cap end with food now the coral will be surrounded by the food you are givin.. Just remeber to remove it when done...

Good luck hope this sends you in a good direction..!!
