Fragged my first coral

    I'm sad. I broke down and fragged my large birdsnest, it had been collecting a lot of cyano on the top branches, I really didn't want to fragit, but it needed it.

    I only wanted to do the top branches, but accidently fragged half the coral, i hope it will grow back :) so now I have a bunch of frags sitting on one of the rocks, hopefully the lfs will take them.

    They are very hardy and you should see the frag take off soon as well as the mother.

    thanks, hopefully the algae wont collect on the branches now
    i hope so, it grows like crazy so hopefullt it will recover then grow again

    yea imm going to contact the LFS to see if they take frags in for store credit

    lol thanks one of my rocks is full of birdsnest frags, hopefully i will get them gone soon!

    Did you use cutters or just snap them off?
    The mother and the frags should do fine. Corals are way more hardy than hobbiests give them credit for. Congrats on the job! I can't wait until all of my sps get big enough to start earning thier keep! ;D
