Fragging a Lobophyllia

    I have a 6 inch round green Lobophyllia ..
    Can it be Fragged and how??

    You will kill it. I would be happy its big and doing good and no receding. Once you cut them they they will not recover

    Best way I have found is to look for a natural separation or logical place to split it in the skeleton and then use a dremel to cut the polyp off the main skeleton. Sometimes you can just get away with using the dremel to score and snap it, but that can be a little more risky. Ideally you want to try and avoid cutting any flesh, but it is sometimes unavoidable. As long as the frag is under good conditions, it should regrow pretty quickly though.
