So I've got a Kenya tree and it's right next to a couple button polyps. I need to move it before it gets stung. How do I frag it? It will have to be in the tank because the rock it's on is epoxied to a bigger rock.[IMG][IMG]

If I am not mistaken just hack it up with a razor blade.

And then glue it to a rock?

Just reach in there and snip it off with a pair of scissors. Pinch the new cutting between two good sized pieces of rubble and rubber band it. Or run a tooth pick through it and rubberband that to a rock. What ever tissue is left will regenerate. Run some fresh carbon if you cut in the tank.

I've cut a lot of leathers in the tank and never had any issues.

Totally agree. Just snip pieces off and pinch it between some rubble. I don't think you can glue leathers. Well at least I've tried and it didn't work out, leather ended up melting away.

Or you could just wait for it to drop babies all over your tank! Or you could do what I do, use an urchin!
