I got 2 true percula clown fish about 2 or3 days abgo and today I get home form work and one of them has small red smots on him. One between his eyes and one on his side. They are only about 5 months old. They are the only fish in my tank. I have 5 snails and a cleaner shrimp. Could the two be fighting or does it have something to do with growing. They are usually right together but for some reason they are swimming on the opposite sides of the tank

I think it is the shrimp. I took the fish out and seperated them. The one fish is falling over. I dont think he is gonna make it.

i doubt it is the shrimp. i have never seen either of my cleaners be agressive with any of my fish except with their attempts to clean them. did you add live rock? it could be something introduced.

The red dots thing sounds fungal... And the separation could be due to the one clown being sick. It either seeks solitude so it can either heal or die, and the other seeks to not be near the infected clown as it doesn't want to catch it also.

The fungus is most likely due to them being the first fish

Why would being the first fish have anything to do with it?
