"tanstaafl"....There ain't no such thing as a free lunch...

And There ain't no such thing as a free eel. ("tanstaafe" (?))

You will eventually pay for it down the road in either little fish or shrimp...:-[

Move him along if you can...

    Good Luck!

I only have 2 goldfish in a bowl. I don't have warm water tanks like you, but I think you should follow wastemanagement's reply because I don't know anything about other non- goldfish fish.

I know it has been some time, but this is what I did. I managed to ketch him and gave it to a friend who wanted it. They had one in the past an missed having one. They have a large tank and pay someone do there maintenance once a week. He was very unhappy that they got one because their tank is mostly reef and just as people advised me, he advised that it had to go. So when they left town for the winter months the caretaker of the tank removed the Eel . I kind of feel bad because he did grow on me and it was great fun to feed him. I liked that I could go see him at his adopted parents house, but now he could anywhere or worse.

The way you worded it, it sounds like he made the decision himself to remove it. I would be one pissed off MOFO.

I do love these little guys. Makes me wish I hadn't gone with the reef tank.
