    I have a 75gal bow front reef tank that I have had going for almost 10 years now.It has a trickle filter with a protein skimmer in it. Someone gave me a pump conected to a lifegard mechanical filter AF-94 that is also connected to a AF-95. Should I switch,is it better? and how do you set this up? What are the gauges for? And how do you pull the filter out without water all over.

    72 bow front?

    What are your parameters? What stocking of fish do you have? Do you feel you need more mechanical filtration? Do you run a phosphate reducing product such as Ecobac?
