Hey guys and gals. How would one go about clearing up free floating particles? I have a 90 gal display with a overflow box that has two overflow pipes to a 55 gal refuge. I do not have a canister filter or any other type of filter other then the refuge and a skimmer. I am thinking a filter sock on the overflow pipes but thought I would as for suggestions.

    Thanks for all the help!

Shove filter floss into your overflows overnight. Remember to remove it as it will cause nitrate problems if you don't.

filter sock on overflow outlet, 200 microns, rotate every 4-7 days. its also a nice place to toss your carbon if you don't have a reactor.
