I am looking to tear down my FW tank. The reef is taking up most of my energy and attention, and as I get ready to move soon I don't want to deal with moving two tanks.

I placed a local Craigslist ad offering my FW fish free to a good home. I wasn't expecting so many replies! I got so many that I had to prioritize the people who were willing to take all of them at once. Among those, I had to give priority to the ones who could actually READ my ad and not ask dumb questions that I had already posted! ;-)

I'm actually kind of shocked. I will be able to get the FW tank broken down and stored tonight, and well out of the way in time for the open house.

Anyone else have any experience selling/giving away stuff on CL, or other classifieds?

Ive sold lots of frags on CL. I have also found some really good deals. My Euroreef RS80 skimmer for $60, and a 135g tank, stand, and canopy for $100. I check often and everyday to see what I can find.

I have set up an RSS feed for my local CL's "aquarium" result page. I'm looking to pick up a use CA reactor at some point.

I guess the low priced tanks are the ones where people are moving, or an angry spouse is tired of putting up with an empty tank in the house. LOL

I'm about to list my FW set up. I'm pricing it low to get rid of it, but I bet I will still get some crazy low ball offers.
