    must be shipping out of TN, at first mine had tax on it then it just zeroed out after i finished checking out.

    Hey Chaps ... ! One short question ?! What are You planning to use it for ?! As far as I understand it measures TOTAL impurities: that will be Fe,Cu,Ba,Sr,Hg etc ... etc.. Many of them are substantial components of marine water and are always abundant ... :confused:

    Is it for RO/Di ...?! To check the quality of membranes and the overall performance ..?!

    You use them to check RO/DI units and tap water. They were originally user by water plants to check the purity of water to make sure the levels of total dissolved solids are within the "safe zone" for human consumption.

    Thanks a bunch amcarrig. Just ordered one. I have been using my rodi water without testing it but now I will be able to see if there are any impurites.

    Oh well, my RO/DI filtering system came with a TDS meter...8)
