Freedom Filter

Has anyone ever used this filter?

On the box at Petco it says the pump is included so it is $145 for the filter system + pump.
It seems like a good deal to me but im new at all this.
what do yall think

 

it is trying to mix to many things together jmo but i had looked into a filter like that and pretty quickly changed my mind but good luck to you

I am planning on having a 55 gallon aquarium with live rock.
I am told all I need is a protein skimmer but I dont know which is the best to get that isnt outrageous in price.

I'm running it HOB (Hang on Back) from my 55gallon. I have the same size as you so thought I'd throw it out there.

I think the price is reasonable for these.
