ok im going back and forth and cant decide what im doing i wanted a 20 gallon tall tank got everything just drilled the tank a few nights ago now my wife and daughter has been lookin at saltwater beasties while im at work now its a family tank and not just mine,

my question is i have a 55 gallon fresh water running right now as we speak that i installed juwel 3d background in the sides and back is this background safe for saltwater it says it is fresh/salt safe on the bag but you cant trust everything you read unless its from 3reef lol

i siliconed it in what kind of nightmare am i lookin at to remove it besides countless hours of razor bladeing the glass after wards

any thoughts on this would be appreciated i just dont think a 20 is gonna cut it now that everybody wants to join in on picking what goes in it

i was just wondering if it would be safe i do know its made of a hard foam i think it would look pretty darn neat if it all crusted with coraline cuz of its texture.

ok next qestion what size of drain bulk head do i need and should i send my 2 new hydor nano 240 gph's back and get the 425's or bigger? im gonna have to send my darn return pump back and get a bigger one now also i hope aquacave takes returns.

and i havent used any meds of any sort in my tank is there anything special i need to do during my tear down to ensure i dont have any sw conversion problems

Just make sure you didnt use copper treatments or anything, because that can leech into the water and that will not be that great.

only treatment this tank has ever seen is declorinater thats it nothing else no ick treatments no nothin this tank is actually the healthiest tank ive ever had knock on wood and actually i dont even have to change the water in it acording to my biweekly testing so far the drift wood i had in it has buffered the ph and everything so all i do is add about a half cup of water to it every morning sometimes more or less
