So, I tried freshwater dipping the new six line. My first time fresh water dipping.

I brought the pH of the water up by putting baking soda. Have the same temp. So after the fish was acclimated, I put the six line in the fresh water w/ my net.

It hated it, swam around crazy for a sec or two and fell flat.... Yeah like they said, it was more stressful to me than the fish. It freaked me out cause I thought it was dead...grrr So I put it in the tank. It was like that for the first second, then it swam away. I think it tricked me!!! It was playing dead.

LOL. Don't ya love it when something as smart as a doornob gets ya? Yup. Fish one. I would have thought the same thing.

I had a cat once that I ran over. bump bump......bump, bump. #$#$!!!!! Wife is crying, I am wondering what to do.......cat's dead. I put it in a box, put it in the front seat and head off to the vet to have them dispose of the body. Halfway there, I catch something out of the corner of my eye and that cat leapt up, meowed and looked directly into my eyes. Scared the crap out of me. Wasn't dead. Cat 1...John 0. Eight lives left.

My coral beauty did that to me. And sure enough now it's showing signs of ick. Oh well, that's what the cleaner shrimp is for, I'm not worried about it.:)
