I've been having trouble with my zoas for atleast a month now. There are apprx. 75-100 polyps on it. It looks like maybe half are fully open. The other half does not want to open. I have tried direct feeding, and an iodine dip, but niether of those have worked. I think I remember seeing something on here about doing a freshwater dip, to get whatever parasites, if any, are eating my zoas. I don't think anything in my tank is eating, I never see anything near them except for the occasional turbo or hermit, that somehow crawled on there. But they are never on there long enough to feast, just to get to wherever they may be heading.

Any advice, is a freshwater dip a possible solution, and if so, what is the best way to do it?
    Thanks for the help guys!

May not be a parasite, lighting could be a problem, or flow.

Params are all in check, I'm actually running two sets of lights, a set of power compacts, and 1 set of T5s.

Look very close for Nudi's, spiders or under the Rock for sundial snails. If not could be something nearby irritating the polyps?

If there is any of the above listed on my zoas- how do I get them off- wouldn't a freshwater dip get them off. Can I do any harm by a freshwater dip?

What about flow? What power heads are you using? Try listing you params i'm sure that will help us.

I don't know my params offhanded. I let my LFS run the tests and they tell me whether or not they are in check.I watch them do every step and I can see the results myself, I just can't afford a test kit, and they do it for free. I do it about once a week, I haven't had much fluctuation in any test over the past few months.
Im running 2 koralias-I want to say one is a level 2 and the other a 3. Either way, one is more powerful than the other. I'm also running a maxi jet with the maxi jet attachment. That thing pumps out so major waves. That's it for flow.
