fresh water dip

    i set up a 10 gallon hospital tank, and i want to put both the female blacksaddle abck clown and the female false percula clown in at the same time since they look bad, i want to fresh water dip them, and maybe add s0me copper.
    how long do i fresh water dip each of them and how would i do it.....
    any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    get afive gallon bucket and fill it with fresh water, make sure the fresh water is the same temperature as your tank, i would do it for 10 to fifteen minutes the throw them back in

    IMO, I would dip them for about 5 min. or until they start to gasp for "air" or try to jump out, or show other signs of severe stress

    I wouldn't give them a dip if you are putting them into a hospital tank.

    I wouldn't do it for more than five minutes at the most. Anything after that (and possibly before 5 mins. so watch your fish carefully) is asking for death.

    I agree with this unless they are suffering from a disease that may require a freshwater dip, such as clownfish disease, (I just experienced this with mortal results)
