I greatly appreciate your posts! your set up looks amazing. I starting with the 50/50 lights for less than 12 hours and I found my foreground plants were dieing off. I jumped back up to 13-14 hours and They sprouted right back up. baby tears are now just starting to make their comeback. I watch over the tank all evening while I have a few. Since ive been running longer timesmof the lighting, ive nothing but success; granted its been three weeks. I will jump up on the co2 and fertilizer and lower the light time and see how that goes. little science experiment.

 

Good adjustment on the times. The ferts and CO2 may let you cut back on the time. Usually light length change has no effect but it did this time. Congrats keep us up on the experiment. I bought my ferts from Greenleaf Aquarium. I use a modified EI dosing schedule.
