I just setup my 46 bow and w/ the sand, its cloudy as hell... 3 days ago it was bad, this morning not too bad but cant see front to back... Wife didnt clear me to spend the $$ on the overflow setup yet, so here's my idea and I want to know if it is okay to do this...

I have the sump already, and want to take my overflow box, plumbing, and return pump and plumbing from my 125 gallon freshwater tank (healthy, just some Petricola in it only) and use it on my 46 bow... with cleaning, is this possible?

sure is but keep in mind... that fresh 125 is very likely now on the chopping block to become a salt in the near future :) Saltwater is a very addictive bug and has a tenancy to spread.

Also, the setup (overflow, piping and pump) may be oversized for the 46. What pump is it, and how many feet of head will it need to pump against?
